 A chair

As a designer, I believe in people. People are the start and end point for me in every new project, and this project was no exception. Designing for people was

the guiding principle throughout the process.

The proportions of the chair are wider and larger than standard. The handles are a continuous strip that run from the back to the front of the chair, to give the chair the feeling that it surrounds the person sitting on it, providing comfort.

The proportions of the chair are in the sweet spot between an armchair and a chair so that the sitting position is that of a sofa - comfortable and spacious and leaving you with your arms supported.

The chair is made of bent and welded iron, and is designed by splitting the material from “one to two” and from “two to one”. This split creates functional opportunities such as the ties that stabilize the chassis of the chair.

The choice of iron, a strong, cold material counterbalances.  the warm and inviting

shape of the chair.

The thin line between armchair and chair together with

the use of a metallic material succeeds in creating a new opportunity. a secure and contemporary chair which

invites you to sit comfortably, for a long time, and in a

new and innovative way.
