LIHI KOPEL

During my first  year of  study I was asked  to design

 a new stool, by giving my own personal interpretation

to a generic  “bar stool”, which was originally built 

by a local Tel - Aviv carpenter.

I got the inspiration of my new stool design from

the street culture, known as ‘sitting on the barrels’ culture.

My chosen combination of the natura  l color of the

pine tree with the red color, is according to the

 dialogue of the colors of the curbstone, painted 

intermittently in red and white.
